A Personal profile and learning indicator

CoreProfile ™ personal profile and learning indicator is tried and acknowledged by companies such as LEGO Group, Coloplast, LEO Pharma and several public institutions in Denmark. Here the free Enneagram test as well as the complete personality test with learning indicator is used in leadership and team building and for successful cooperation and communication. It gives you a greater insight into your own psychology and at the same time into all 9 Enneagram types.

This personal profile has been developed by Mia and Balder Striim of the consultant and training house COREFINDER. They are authors, consultants, trainers and coaches. Mia and Balder Striim do not believe it possible to develop a complete personality test based on the Enneagram typology. CoreProfile ™ is neither an Enneagram test nor a personality test, but a personal profile with a learning indicator, based on the Enneagram typology and psychology.

CoreProfile ™ is developed primarily for the use of leaders and in leader teams but it is also often used in team building and for the purpose of cooperation and communication.

This personal profile and learning indicator is a tool for learning and understanding other people's perception, based on the Ennagram typology and psychology which the authors describe in their Enneagram book with the Danish title Brug dit Enneagram ("Use your Enneagram").

The Enneagram typology and psychology

The Enneagram reaches into the core of your personality - all down to your values , convictions and the motivation which lies behind them. So with CoreProfile ™ you have a learning tool which goes far deeper than a normal behavior typology and an ordinary personality test. Learning tool means that you, while you are learning about each Enneagram type, will decide to what degree you recognize yourself in each of the 9 Enneagram types. An ordinary Enneagram test or personality test does not give any actual learning about the typology or psychology behind the personality test.

The Personal profile CoreProfile ™

In part 1 of the personal profile you are introduced to one type at a time: The psychology and character traits of each Enneagram type, what each type contributes with, feels good about as well as how the types change their behavior in situations when they feel secure and when they are stressed.

Part 2 of the personal profile shows similarities and differences between 3 types at a time. Here you are asked to decide which type you recognize the most in your own psychology, at the same time as you learn about the psychology of all the other Enneagram types.

To fill in your personal profile, you must register as a user. The cost is DKK 495,-.

When you have completed your personal profile you will get a detailed report with suggestions to how you may develop as a person in leadership, team building, cooperation and communication and you will get detailed descriptions of all 9 Enneagram types.

You will be able to elaborate your CoreProfile ™ by getting personal feedback from a certified CoreProfiler, who will assist you in transforming your knowledge into concrete action in your daily life, working with leadership, team building, cooperation or communication.

  • As a user of CoreProfile ™ you will get access to a knowledge database about the Enneagram and the 9 types which is updated concurrently with the increasing number of completed personality tests, free Enneagram tests, learning indicators and personal profiles.
     
  • You can also try to do a free Enneagram test which is presented in the same way as an ordinary personality test. This test holds a sample of the questions in part 1 of the complete personal profile but there is no tool for learning. The result you get from the free Enneagram test is a chart showing to what degree you recognize yourself in each of the 9 Enneagram types and you can read short descriptions of each type. A free personality test will of course only serve as a guide and should always be followed by a complete personal profile, especially if you intend to use it in connection with your work within leadership, team building, communication and cooperation.

Remember that the precision of an ordinary personality test, Enneagram test or personal profile will always depend on the insight you have into yourself.
